New CAMPUS DINING MEAL PLANS

This year, students will have a choice of six different meal plans. The first three meal plans are our standard 19, 14, 10 meals. However, in order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed three NEW meal plans for the academic year. These meal plans include either 19, 14, 10 meals PLUS Flex Dollars. Flex Dollars are a great way for students to get the most variety out of the dining program on campus. Plus, these plans offer dining after 7pm at the Beckes Food Court and Grinder's Coffee Shop when the dining center closes. You can chose one of the three meal plans when you sign your housing contract. Flex Dollars then become part of your room and board. It's that simple!

Resident Students

19 Meal Plan/ $50 Flex Dollars

Includes all 19 meals served in Tecumseh Dining Center. Breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday plus brunch and dinner on the weekends.

10 Meal Plan/ $250 Flex Dollars

Includes 10 of the 19 meals served in Tecumseh Dining Center each week.

14 Meal Plan/ $150 Flex Dollars

Includes 14 of the 19 meals served in Tecumseh Dining Center each week.

**Residential dining programs are included with the housing charges and are administered through the Housing Office located in Clark Hall.**

OFF Campus/ commuter Options

40 Meals/ $200 Flex Dollars

Meals are for use at Tecumseh Dining Center and Flex can be used at Student Union Food Court, Grinder's Coffee Shop and Tecumseh Dining Center.

80 Meals/ $150 Flex Dollars

Meals are for use at Tecumseh Dining Center and Flex can be used at Student Union Food Court, Grinder's Coffee Shop and Tecumseh Dining Center.

160 Meals/ $50 Flex Dollars

Meals are for use at Tecumseh Dining Center and Flex can be used at Student Union Food Court, Grinder's Coffee Shop and Tecumseh Dining Center.

This is the easiest way to dine and enjoy on campus. These plans go directly on your VU ID Card (Blazer One Card). There is no need to worry about carrying cash with you everyday.

**Off Campus plans are good for the full academic school year.

Off Campus Meal Plans are non-refundable. Purchases of meal plans and Flex Dollars can be made through Cheryl Haney at 812.888.5841.

A meal plan week runs Friday through Thursday.**

Flex Dollars
Students living on campus now have three NEW meal plans which include Flex Dollars. Flex Dollars is a NEW declining balance program available to all VU Students and employees. It is an easy and secure way to dine when and where you want (Beckes Student Union Food Court or Grinder's Coffee Shop)

Here's how it works:

Resident Hall Students: You can now have Flex Dollars included with your meal plan as part of your room and board. This option will be given when you sign your housing contract. Any questions call the Housing office at

Commuter Students and Faculty/Staff : You can purchase Flex Dollars as part of the new commuter meal plans. Also, you can purchase Flex Dollars as you want, $25, $50, $100; etc... this account is coded on your Student I.D. (Blazer One Card).

Whatever way you chose, Flex Dollars are ideal for dining on campus. When you want to eat at the dining center, food court or coffee shop, you simply present your VU I.D. and the amount of your purchase is deducted from your account. It's simple and secure; you don't have to carry cash. Plus, this offers more variety.

Flex Dollars are a great gift idea for parents and grandparents to purchase for their VU Student. Also, Flex Dollars are designated only for food. That way you know your gift is providing meals for your VU student.

Policies & Procedures

One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

Please bus your tray and disposables from your table when you have finished dining.
Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
Please be polite with our staff and other students.
Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferrable. Meal Cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.

Lost Meal Cards

Lost or stolen ID /Meal Cards can be replaced. Should this happen to you, contact Blazer One at www.BlazerOneCard.com
